Advantages of using flash:

1. Freezes action

2. You can use smaller aperture and slower film or ASA

3. Increase tonal contrast and add sparkles in low light condition

4. Shoot without tripod.

Disadvantages of using flash:

1. Dark un-natural background

2. It can create harsh shadow when using single flash.
